Iced Frappucino

IMG_3720Man, this picture of the frappucino does not do it any justice. I’m not really sure what I was thinking placing it on an identically colored table and dressing it with a topping white “poo.” Ah, the regrets. What I don’t regret, though, is drinking 2 of these back-to-back. Oh, yes. They’re that good. They are creamy, coffee-ey (not a word, but bear with me), cold, refreshing, sweet, and delicious. Also, really easy. Which brings me to another topic: Magic Bullet. I cringe at infomercial offerings. Chillow is a new one…a chilled pillow. You just need that one example to see why half of America cringes at commercial time. BUT the Magic Bullet started as an informercial offering! Now, there are countless ripoffs because the Magic Bullet turned out to be USEFUL. Instead of lugging out the blender, with its blade, lid, and other adornments, with the magic bullet you need a simple glass and machine. That is it. And that is what makes this recipe so easy! Read on and drink on, friends. Also, each serving (1 cup) has 60 calories compared to Starbucks 200 for the same size and that’s not even counting the toppings :0

Recipe: (Makes 3 servings)
1 (12.3 oz) package of Mori-Nu extra firm silken tofu
1 cup brewed coffee, cold
1.5 tbsp truvia or sugar
Dash of vanilla extract
Crushed ice

Blend all together
Chill until desired temperature

Really… It is THAT easy!
